Presentation of railway track construction through VR headset
360-degree video capture
Design aligned with brand identity, gaze-based control for ease of use
Language selection: English, German, Hungarian
We developed an application running on a VR headset on behalf of V-Híd Zrt., which the company used to introduce itself at the 2024 InnoTrans railway industry exhibition.
The application is available in three languages: English, German, and Hungarian.
The developed application is essentially a short documentary, filmed with a 360-degree camera and then edited to showcase the impressive machines used in railway construction. In the film, which can be viewed through the VR headset, users can follow the processes of railway construction through the operation of three different types of machinery. The film presents an SMD-80 track laying machine, a Unimat Dynamic track stabilizer, and a USP ballast regulator. The application offers perspectives on these machines that would otherwise be inaccessible to viewers. Throughout the film, rich narration provides background information to make the visuals more engaging for users.
Check out the application yourself at the next exhibition, where V-Híd will have a booth.
