We want the content of arworks.hu to be usable by everyone — including visitors with visual or hearing impairments, limited mobility or cognitive disabilities. We built the website to target Level AA of the WCAG 2.1 standard, and we continue to treat it as our benchmark for further development.

Our commitment
What we have done
Semantic HTML structure: a real heading hierarchy and proper list, button and link elements, so that screen readers interpret the page correctly.
Full keyboard accessibility: every interactive element can be reached with the Tab key and receives a visible focus indicator.
Text contrast: body text and controls aim to meet the WCAG AA contrast requirements on both light and dark backgrounds.
Alternative text for images, while decorative images have an empty alt attribute so that they do not disrupt screen reader output.
Responsive layout: the page remains readable at widths down to 320 pixels and at 200% zoom, without horizontal scrolling.
Videos use click-to-play players, with no autoplay and no flashing content.
Form fields have visible, programmatically associated labels; error messages are also shown as text, not indicated by color alone.
Known limitations
Some older project videos do not have Hungarian subtitles yet; we are adding them on an ongoing basis.
The accessibility of embedded third-party video players is the responsibility of the respective provider.
In the English version, some project and Knowledge Hub texts are temporarily shown in Hungarian until their translation is complete.
The interactive 3D and VR demos on some project pages are, by their nature, visual experiences — we provide text descriptions for them.

If you encounter a barrier while using the website, please email us at office@arworks.hu. Tell us which page it happened on and which device and assistive technology you were using — this helps us fix the problem as quickly as possible. We will respond within 30 days at the latest, and if the content in question cannot be made accessible, we will provide it to you in an alternative format.
Status of this statement
This statement is based on a self-assessment by ARworks and applies to the arworks.hu website. The website is under continuous development, and we review this statement whenever major changes are made.
