Cookies
We do not place any cookies on the public, visitor-facing part of the website. The cookie below is set only in the internal editorial interface:
arw_adminSession cookie for the internal content management interface. It is set only for signed-in ARworks staff members, never for visitors. Lifetime: until the session ends or the user signs out.
Settings stored in your browser
A few convenience features use your browser's own storage (localStorage, sessionStorage). This data stays on your device, is not sent to any server, and cannot be used to identify you.
arworks-proto-interestsThe interests you select in the header, which are used to reorder the projects on the home page. You can clear them at any time in the "Personalize" panel in the header.
arw-campaign-seenRecords that you closed the campaign pop-up, so that it does not appear again when you return.
arworks-chat, arworks-chat-enThe state and messages of the site chat in the current browser session, stored separately for each language. Deleted when you close the tab.
Embedded videos
Videos on project pages and in the Knowledge Hub load as preview images: the video provider (such as YouTube or Vimeo) receives a request, and can set cookies, only when you actually start playback. Once playback has started, the provider's own privacy practices apply to the player.
How to delete this data
You can delete the cookies and stored data for this site at any time in your browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data).
You can turn off personalization with the "Clear selection" button in the "Personalize" panel in the header.
In a private or incognito window, the data above is deleted automatically when you close the window.
