TouchScreen solution at the Dubai Gitex exhibition
About the project
The Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA) was looking for an innovative solution to showcase its wide range of services and extensive area. The program developed by ARworks for a touchscreen display provides a spectacular experience for prospective clients at events, exhibitions, or even installed at the company's own headquarters. The advantage of large touchscreen panels is that they attract attention, and the moving, colorful elements encourage visitors to touch them, making them part of the delivered information right away. Beyond the eye-catching opening animation, the program consisted of three main parts: Building animation, which showed the construction of the DAFZA building complex changing over time, while the viewer could see the development of the entire area from a bird's-eye view. Free exploration: The main part of the program is the 3D modeling of the entire DAFZA area (about 20 buildings and more than 100 service units). Here, clients could walk through the entire area while getting a realistic picture of the location of their future office. Moving cars, trees and people ensured that the experience was even more realistic. In addition to the 3D exterior building and environment model, we also included 360° panoramic images in the free exploration, so buyers could examine the selected area not only from the outside, but also from the inside. The explorable 3D models, complemented by the 360-degree panoramic photos, provided clients with a truly lifelike experience. Last but not least, in the third section, clients could also see a specific business offer, so those who already knew the area knew what they would get in return, and could immediately check it if they wanted to switch. The entire content can later be adapted for iPad as well, allowing us to create a truly great sales-supporting mobile application from it.
