Android data collection/survey app for event-based research
About the project
Many companies flirt with the idea of collecting data at events, but it's not always easy to find a solution that is simple, fast, and comfortable for guests. We hopefully managed to help solve this problem with a solution built for Budapest Bank at Roxer's request, embodied in a simple Android tablet application. Beyond straightforward data collection, the app also included a 15-question quiz that visitors had to solve against the clock — and the winner of the competition received a prize. In the interest of keeping the process simple and practical, online synchronization was not a requirement here, since this isn't always available in an event environment. Data was collected on the tablet, and once the promotion ended, it served as the database. As a result, both development and execution could be completed much faster than with traditional methods.
