About the project
How to make an exhibition stand stand out with 3D interactive building models presented on a touchscreen. We created our latest touchscreen application for the Futureal-Cordia Group, one of Hungary's most dynamically developing real estate developers, which served as an excellent sales-support tool for presenting their real estate projects still in planning or under development. We were able to realistically showcase the building itself, its surroundings, and the apartments, so that prospective buyers could (virtually) feel at home even before construction had begun, making both planning and sales far more precise. The application, developed for a touchscreen TV, consists of 3 main parts: on the main screen, after selecting the given project, users can view a realistic 3D-rendered exterior of the building along with a schematized view of the surrounding area. Visitors can walk around the building from every side and view it from a bird's-eye perspective as well. After viewing the building, they can also explore the wider surroundings, where all important landmarks and locally available services are displayed, helping buyers envision their future home. The third main function allows users to select a floor of the building, then a specific apartment on that floor, and finally view the apartment's layout and exact specifications. The touchscreen application is ideal for presentation at exhibitions or as a sales-support tool at a fixed sales center. Depending on the setup, it can serve as a guide, where a salesperson presents the given real estate project and walks the prospective buyer through the entire process up to selecting their own future apartment, or it can function automatically as an active information panel. The application can later be extended with a 3D render of the current apartment and 360-degree panoramic views within the apartment. The 3D content can be used for tablet presentations, downloaded for use in a mobile application, or for creating 360-degree walkthroughs in VR headsets — whatever the client requires.
