LGT 360-degree concert video
About the project
We created a special 360-degree video recording of LGT's concert in Alsóörs, which – in a way unique in the world – will soon be available to a wide audience built into a smartphone app as well. Launching the app, we find ourselves on stage at the concert, and by turning the smartphone or tablet around us, we can see the band members playing music all around us. Perhaps even more special is that we can choose from 9 different 360-degree camera views the perspective that interests us most – be it János Karácsony plucking the strings, the drummer, or Gábor Presser himself at the keyboards. This recording and app are the result of several months of joint work with Panocast, and it has been a huge success both musically and among fans. For the recording, alongside many other special devices and software, we used GoPro cameras built into a custom-designed console. We continue to develop the technology further, and we plan to record increasingly exciting content – whether productions specifically designed for 360-degree recording, or dynamic, moving scenes reminiscent of action films.
