About the project
Commissioned by V-Híd Zrt., we developed a VR headset application that the company used to present itself at the 2024 InnoTrans railway industry exhibition. The application is available in 3 languages: English, German, and Hungarian. The developed app is essentially a short documentary, filmed and edited with a 360-degree camera, showcasing the impressive machinery used in railway construction. In the film, viewed through a VR headset, the user follows the railway construction process through the operation of three machines with different functions. The app features an SMD-80 track-laying machine, a Unimat Dynamic tamping machine, and a USP ballast regulator. The application shows the machines from angles that would otherwise be impossible for viewers to experience. Throughout the film, rich narration ensures that the footage is presented with interesting background information for users.
