About the project
Silver Blue cigarettes launched a special edition pack, and to promote it at a hostess promotion event we created a tablet-based Augmented Reality (AR) solution. In the iPad app, the user enters their name and email address, and then, when the cigarette pack is held up to the camera, their name appears animated letter by letter on top of the pack. The eye-catching 3D letters were designed specifically for this application and, in line with the campaign, evoke the style of the famous Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky. After pressing the ‘Share’ button, the app sends the image as a screenshot, along with a cover message, to the provided email address.
