What the AI layer can do

AI product advisor Ask about a model, trim or boot space — it answers from approved data.
Natural-language configurator Colour, interior view, two trims side by side — on request.
Guided model selection Asks about use and key features, then shows relevant models.
AI receptionist and showroom assistant Greets the visitor, picks a language, routes to the right colleague.
Virtual salesperson and AI avatar A brand-fitted character on screen or in VR, in natural conversation.
Sales and service internal assistant Searches manuals by model year, accessory or procedure and shows the relevant part.
Measurable interest Model openings, comparisons, test-drive requests, lead handovers.
DirectionThe AI functions for automotive are development directions; they are not references as finished installations for a specific car brand.
  • VEXMore than a hundred products on a touchscreen, with an AI product assistant (defense exhibition).

05 — What we can build

Six directions on proven ground

ARworks · Automotive portfolio15 / 17

06 — Roll-out

From the first idea to a working showroom

  1. 01

    Project start

The situation of use: showroom, event, home, factory or training — who uses it and what decision it supports.

  2. 02

    Content and prototype

A data structure from the model list; an early prototype for model choice, views and usability.

  3. 03

    Integration and trial

Performance and interface checks on the chosen hardware; a salesperson test.

  4. 04

    Installation and training

Device setup, kiosk mode, network, content; short, concrete training for local staff.

  5. 05

    Continuous development

A new model year, trim, campaign — regular content work, with measured lessons.

What we measure
  • Model openings
  • Comparisons
  • Frequent topics
  • Test-drive requests
  • Lead handovers
  • Usage time
  • Friction points
  • Unanswered AI questions
ARworks · Automotive portfolio16 / 17

07 — Next step

Let us discuss what you would show first

In a short meeting we clarify the situation of use — showroom, event, home interface, plant or training — and suggest a first step.

  1. 01
    Situation of use

Who uses it, what decision or learning goal it supports, what data is available.

  2. 02
    Prototype

On an early prototype we check model choice, views and usability.

  3. 03
    Roll-out

Device setup, training — and continuous content updates.

AI product expert and conversational configuratorConcept — illustration

What we can build Direction

AI product expert and conversational configurator

What it covers

  • Text or voice dialogue, in several languages
  • Designed for an existing touchscreen or as part of a new digital showroom
  • The 2025 Honda KSA direction: a kiosk with photos, videos and an AI sales assistant, without a 3D configurator
  • A local AI model is possible if hardware, language and answer quality allow

Built on our existing work

  • TouchAI platform
  • VEX AI product assistant, Saab avatar, Medtronic real-time dialogue

Worth knowing

The platform’s existing capabilities and the integration for a given brand are separate items.

Life-size AR/MR car presentationConcept — illustration

What it covers

  • Switching exterior and interior view, colour or a chosen product function
  • An AI assistant can explain the part or guide to the right view
  • With a headset MR, the visitor looks at the car while the sales colleague beside them steers the process

Built on our existing work

  • Lincoln iPad AR view
  • Audi Q3 AR
  • Meta 2 Lexus demo

Worth knowing

For the digital content to be clearly visible, the display, the lighting and the spatial tracking must be examined together.

Web 3D and QR-code ARConcept — illustration

What we can build Direction

Web 3D and QR-code AR

The prospect can start from a link or QR code and view the car in the browser: rotate the model, open product features and, on a supported device, place it in AR in their surroundings.

What it covers

  • A customer journey that starts in the showroom can be continued at home
  • A configuration can be linked to an askable AI or a test-drive form
  • In malls and roadshows, a model page to take home via QR code

Built on our existing work

  • Honda Alghanim — browser 3D
  • Lincoln iPad AR

Worth knowing

Loading time, mobile performance and each device’s AR support determine the level of detail.

Multi-user virtual showroomConcept — illustration

What we can build Direction

Multi-user virtual showroom

In a virtual showroom, remote prospects and a salesperson can meet: look at the car together, change the configuration, talk or take part in a product presentation.

What it covers

  • The 2023 automotive solution description already included a showroom usable with avatars and a live sales colleague

Built on our existing work

  • Mercedes VR Factory Tour
  • ARworks’ simulation and AI-training experience in other sectors

Worth knowing

The automotive procedure model and the professional assessment are developed with the client’s specialists; a production-line training will be a separate reference.

What we can build Direction

Electric cars and the digital twin

The battery, drivetrain, charging process or a driver-assistance system can be illustrated in 3D animation. The user chooses a view, opens a component and asks; from the product data the AI can give a clear explanation.

What it covers

  • Charging time, range and operating examples from structured calculation with stated conditions — the system calculates, the AI explains
  • An interactive vehicle or part model from CAD data, photos or scans
  • Extended with operating, sensor or manufacturing data into a digital twin

  • HUMDA Green — an electric car as a hologram
  • Honda and Lincoln: 3D modelling and scanning

Worth knowing

A spectacular 3D model and a data-connected digital twin are separate levels of development.

What we can build Direction

Sales training with virtual customers

With an AI customer, needs analysis, model recommendation, objection handling and explaining product functions can be practised. The character can represent different needs, knowledge levels and styles; the salesperson reacts in text or voice and then receives feedback by criteria set in advance.

What it covers

  • In a browser, on screen or in VR
  • Assessment is based on the brand’s methodology and real product range

Built on our existing work

  • Medtronic: virtual patients with real-time dialogue

What we can build Direction

Driving-safety and fleet simulation

Divided attention, hazard recognition or a special vehicle-use situation can be practised in VR with steering-wheel and pedal integration. The simulation can measure reaction and decision-making and then give feedback.

What it covers

  • The Aegon project is a direct basis for the awareness-raising direction

Built on our existing work

  • Aegon driving-safety VR

Worth knowing

For training or aptitude measurement the task set, driving model and interpretation of results need professional validation; a playful demonstration and a standardised test are different requirement sets.

Askable vehicle manual and product training

BookAI makes publications and training material searchable, listenable and askable: an owner’s manual, a model brochure or a sales handbook can be the content base. VRAI Knowledge Space and Lecture Space give a learning experience built from documents with an AI instructor — for getting to know a new model, drivetrain or trim system.

What it covers

  • In a customer version it helps learn the functions after handover
  • In an internal version, approved material for the sales and service team
  • Identifying model year, language and document version is part of the system

  • BookAI and VRAI platforms

Personalised 3D videos

From a finished 3D model, an image or short video can be made by colour, trim and setting: a visual summary of a configuration for a dealer campaign or a personal offer. The vehicle’s appearance comes from the approved digital model.

What it covers

  • AI can compose the content order, text and language version from the request
  • Technical details and the actual presence of equipment are kept under control by the product data

  • Honda and Lincoln 3D models
