About the project

Commissioned by Porsche Hungária, we created this application featuring Augmented Reality elements to support the launch of the latest Audi A3 in Hungary. Two of the three menu options on the main screen offer particularly exciting visuals for users – a 360-degree interactive panoramic image showcasing the car's interior, as well as an exterior 3D view using our own ColorStage color-selection solution, both of which can easily inspire app users to consider buying the car. When opening the interior view, users can explore the inside of the car and even zoom in on specific parts of the A3. Pressing the light button reveals the MMI system and dashboard lighting, while pressing the info button brings up pulsing virtual arrows highlighting the new Audi A3's technical features. Tapping these arrows opens informational pop-up windows. The world outside the car's windows can be changed with a button press, allowing our virtual car to appear in front of landmarks like Szent István Square or the National Theater. Selecting the exterior view conjures a virtual car showroom on the screen, with the car at its center. Pressing the color button activates our ColorStage solution in action: the turntable beneath the car transforms into a color scale, allowing users to change the car's color while rotating it. Wheel rims can also be selected in 3D, and, similar to the interior view, clicking the red arrows in the exterior view provides useful information about the car's new features. The third button is for registration, which lets users find the nearest Audi showroom and sign up for a test drive.
