About the project

We created a multi-platform application to support the sales of the Lincoln luxury car brand for our client in Kuwait. Since we digitally recreated every model, color, and extra variant of the cars, we could easily place them in a virtual environment and present them across various platforms. We designed two showrooms for the cars: the garden of a modern-style villa, and a more enclosed space where the cars could be presented in a darker environment. These environments can be flexibly changed in the future, so each car could even be placed in its own unique setting – the only limit is imagination. Potential customers could configure the Lincoln of their dreams using different devices. Touchscreen: Customers could browse the entire lineup and customize their car in ways that would have been physically impossible in a real showroom. Since every color and variant became available for display, customers could instantly compare different models, even if a particular feature or variation wouldn't have been physically available. The touchscreen application was also used in shopping malls to attract people's attention without having to rent an extra-large venue or physically bring all the cars there. iPad: The iPad was mainly used in situations where even less space was available. It's a perfect solution for demonstrations at exhibitions or social gatherings, as well as for personal sales situations with customers. The iPad app also includes an AR view, where interested parties could see the selected car in a real environment, such as in front of their own garage or on the street. They could choose between exterior and interior views, while sensing the car's real dimensions in a real environment – almost as if they had already bought it. VR headset: We used the HTC Vive Pro to make the experience even more realistic. Customers could not only customize the car but also freely view it from every possible angle, gaining a detailed, three-dimensional picture of the exterior and interior of their chosen car. All three platforms shared a similar structure, with as few quality compromises as possible, so that the device itself wouldn't affect the enjoyment of the experience. However, each channel has its own advantages and disadvantages, so the goals and possibilities must be weighed individually for each brand.
