About the project
We developed a custom agricultural software as part of the Economic Development and Innovation Operative Program. Agrovision is a modern, multifunctional decision support software designed specifically for arable farmers. It provides farmers with quick and relevant information on-site, powered by the processing of large amounts of data in the background. Although Agrovision can also be accessed from home, it truly shows its strength in on-site data visualization, which, thanks to augmented reality technology, elevates the analysis of agricultural land to a completely new level. Due to the seasonal nature of agricultural work, farmers work continuously in the field from spring to autumn, making it essential for the software to be easy to use on mobile devices as well. Larger farms have already been using various agricultural software solutions, but Agrovision is uniquely able to integrate with these while also functioning effectively on its own. It is primarily designed for those who manage multiple, scattered fields but have not yet used digital solutions. In its initial phase, Agrovision places strong emphasis on clarity and ease of use. In the long run, however, the software will need continuous development to flexibly adapt to user needs and market changes. The backend system handles data management and unique user identification, while registration and login take place through the website. Personal data protection is guaranteed through one-way encryption, and each farmer has their own encrypted database accessible only to them. When designing the web frontend, an easy-to-use, intuitive user experience was one of the main considerations. The system allows not only data entry and display but also editing. Agrovision features a bilingual interface that automatically adapts to the user's selected language, and its fully responsive, mobile-optimized design ensures smooth operation. In light of all this, Agrovision is not just another agricultural software, but an innovative tool that, by combining modern technology with agriculture, makes farmers' everyday work simpler and more efficient.
