About the project

At the end of 2023, Szerencsejáték Zrt. once again made its limited-edition, seasonal Nagykarácsony lottery ticket available, the purchase of which also allowed players to support a good cause. As part of the “Play Connects!” program launched in 2017, the company uses a portion of the ticket's revenue to support the construction of accessible, inclusive playgrounds. This year, the program's communication was expanded with digital content. Thanks to Augmented Reality technology, the Nagykarácsony lottery ticket came to life, allowing players to view festive-themed 3D content. To do this, all they had to do was scan the ticket with their mobile device's camera after purchasing it. The digital 3D content then automatically appeared on the ticket. The application is available to users with Facebook and Instagram accounts.
