A striking augmented reality (AR) solution for one of the newest, most unique real estate development projects in the Emirates
About the project
We created an augmented reality (AR) solution to support the sale of Dubai's “Seahorse The Floating Seahouse”. Launching the tablet app makes a water surface appear on the marker print, on which the three-dimensional, three-story building floats. The building's lowest level, which is underwater (the most spectacular part of the property), can be viewed from all sides and is well illustrated by moving the marker. During the implementation of the project, we had to solve a few major challenges. The water's rippling motion, the complex 3D building model, and the interaction between the two were optimized for the iPad Pro, currently the best mobile hardware available, taking advantage of the device's high graphics performance. Despite the tight deadline, we completed the app on time, and we hope the next step will be presenting the content in VR.
