RockMyRoom – Room Designer App and VR Promotion for Kinder
About the project
We developed this truly entertaining cross-platform solution for Kinder Bueno together with Grey Dubai. Using the iOS and Android app, every user can design the room of their dreams in three dimensions. Looking around in 360 degrees from different viewpoints, they can furnish an empty room or one already partially decorated in various styles. To do this, they can use more than 100 unique design furniture pieces and exciting accessories, and by recoloring them the number of possible variations becomes almost endless. Besides the app available for customers to download, we also created – perhaps for the first time in the world – a Virtual Reality version of the 3D app. With this, customers in shopping malls could even step into their room using a Virtual Reality headset placed on their head. Users can view their creation in several ways – either by walking up to the screen and looking around the room, or by turning the phone around themselves. Besides the room's interior, the view beyond the window also contains interesting details. The rooms created this way can be shared on the Bueno microsite, Facebook and other social platforms. Players can vote on their own and each other's rooms, and as a result, Kinder furnishes the room of the player who receives the most votes in real life as well. The app is available in 12 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Oman.
